AnthemScore Web is a subscription service that runs in your browser, allowing you to transcribe songs from any device. The Desktop App is available as a one-time purchase for people who prefer to work offline, installed on your own computer, with extra editing tools.
Is the desktop app included?
Yes, with the Pro plan, as an optional extra. Everything on AnthemScore Web works on its own, in any browser, and you never have to install anything. If you do want the desktop app, link one computer from your profile page: the desktop app asks for a link code under Tools → AnthemScore Web → Link subscription, and you get every desktop feature for as long as you are subscribed. Linking a different computer unlinks the previous one. The desktop app needs an internet connection to transcribe on this plan, and stops transcribing when the subscription ends. Anything you have already saved stays on your computer.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time from your profile page. Your plan benefits will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes will be reflected in your profile and billing.
What is the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Annual plans are billed once a year and cost about 17% less than paying monthly for the same plan. The plan itself is identical. You can switch between monthly and annual at any time from the pricing page; when you switch, any time you have already paid for is credited toward what you owe next.
How long can I transcribe full length songs for free?
A free account can start a 14 day trial of full length songs at any time from the AnthemScore Web home page. The clock starts when you start the trial, not when you sign up. Outside the trial, free transcriptions are limited to 30 second clips, which stay unlimited. Subscribing restores full length songs.
Do unused song credits roll over to the next month?
No, song credits reset at the beginning of each new billing cycle.
What happens if I upload a song longer than my plan's limit?
The song will be automatically shortened if it exceeds the limit. You can trim the song or upgrade to a plan that supports longer durations.
